bit.civil.dept@gmail.comProf. Neeraj Singh Bais is serving as the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering and the Lab Head for the Material Testing Lab at Ballarpur Institute of Technology. He is a UGC-approved faculty member with extensive academic, research, and administrative experience in Civil Engineering.
Under his leadership, the department has achieved significant milestones, including successfully securing NABL accreditation for the Material Testing Lab (ISO/IEC 17025:2017). He continuously works towards enhancing technical pedagogy through custom educational materials and practical lab training.
He has actively contributed to NEP 2020 curriculum planning, laboratory quality management, advanced research in repurposing industrial waste into sustainable construction materials, and coordinating impactful student project exhibitions. He actively facilitates hands-on academic projects and internships connecting students with the local civil engineering industry.
